We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Trying desperately to come up with the right response to Gringo's post and I can't...I can't follow that up.

You mean the part about losing bidders have to spend time with H20 on a wee little boat being forced to listen to his yammering  :yike: :chuckle:
Ya I mean...the punishment of that would be enough to keep me bidding.

Well said! There have been many times that things like this and this site have humbled me after a rough day. Kinda how when you feel stressed about all your troubles and you see something at the store or on the street that makes you realize your troubles are minuscule in comparison. This site and you people that make this site what it is, are truly amazing to say the least, and it is my opinion that you great people are what gentlemen and ladies are defined as. Keep up the great work of giving, and caring and loving. And as said already, let's hope we never have to go through it again.

In all seriousness, Jackalope is right.  In some way we all benefit from this forum.  It's free to us to use as we please to be educated, entertained or to debate just about everything you can imagine.  It makes me proud to see this community pitching in during tough times to folks who were forced to deal with a tough situation.  Call it a silver lining to a very dark cloud?  Well......while we may be limited, sometimes in pitch black darkness, it's amazing how little of a light it takes to be able to find ones way.

Agreed.  I love this forum.  It can absolutely be a force for good, with an amazing amount of great people on here.

We don't always see eye to eye and often times we fight, but like it or not we are a family of outdoorsman. Like others have said, when members fall on tough times we are there to help them back up. I have never met most of you, but I'm glad to be part of this family and will keep helping whenever and however I can...as long as you don't ask for my honeyhole. :chuckle:

All the good done in these benefits put life into perspective for me. We see so much sinisissium in this world ...it assures me that we still live in the best country on Earth . I've met some  truely amazing friends on here because of a common goal to help others . I'm grateful for that.
My wife told me that I hunt way more than I did when we first got married. I said yeah I know isn't it great !

Well said Coach.  You are a model for us too.  One who gives so freely in service of others.  Thank you!
