Hi all:
I just joined the forum after a long time spent leeching info from it for free
^This is me, hello.
Lately I’ve been interested in trying to shoot good video of hunting trips. I only got after ducks and grouse this past fall, but found it impossible to even think about running a camera while I was concentrating on the task at hand. I felt like I needed a way to practice.
So I had this idea that maybe I could get some experience during the spring if I found a coyote hunter or two, and tagged along as his/her/their videographer.
The tradeoff would be that I’d get to practice shooting a hunt, and in return the hunter/s would get a video of the day afield. (I cannot promise a *GOOD* video, however! Like I said, the whole point of this for me is to get practice — which, if I was great at it already, I wouldn’t need.) Anyone interested?
I've never done any predator hunting, so I won't feel a need to horn in on the action. I won't even bring a rifle. I'll sit still behind the camera and be quiet. I live in Seattle, so would be looking for a volunteer who hunts within reasonable driving distance.
If this sounds like fun to you, send me a PM. Maybe we can work something out! If it does not sound like fun to you… Well, I can understand that. It is a pretty weird proposition, after all.
Thanks,
Matthew
