Put it on a pelt stretcher and see how far it goes down.  If it's high up... probably a house cat but if it goes further down....   If it's domestic make sure the owner gets the collar back.

That’s what got me asking the question. I was pretty positive it was a bob but just seemed so strange since looked like a house cat on a neighborhood cruise.

They recently cleared a bunch of land for a new development near her house so I’m guessing it’s world recently changed

I provide a service to cattle ranchers year around that have problem coyotes.  I also provide guided night hunts year around. I sell Night Vision and Thermal optics. The scopes I use are the NVision Halo XRF and Pulsar Merger XL50 LRF HD Binoculars
