The man that taught me how to do barrel swaps

It all went down hill from there. :chuckle:

@Yorke. A Silver Gary Reeder, Silverhawk revolver in 510 GNR would be a nice piece!
I've thought about it. I'm always looking for a good deal on a donor Redhawk for something like that.

Mine are nothing fancy, replaced the recoil spring and guide rod, bigger grip, locking take down pin,and painted the front sight. It's gonna get a trigger job and glow in the dark sight

I don't really have any, but that's because they don't have as much of a fireball as you'd expect. Even with the short barrels I get less flash than just about any 44 Mag load.

If you play this video at .25 speed you can see just a bit of muzzle flash on the 338/375 Ruger. Also, notice the time of flight between the shot and when you hear the impact.

Those Reeder's are nice. I've kicked around the idea of a 510 Silverhawk. I picked up a Ruger Super Redhawk in .44 Mag for $450.00 from a guy that needed some cash in a hurry, I may have one done. Not a bad deal 1/3 of the total cost down. 6-8 months delivery time 2200.00 total for the conversion/work. I got the handgun at such a good price. I'm just not into all the engraving. I would want mine satin vapor honed stainless, with polished controls/small parts. No engraving , just a super clean look.

My 2 favorite revolvers from my competitive shooting years.  I spent hours polishing the guts on both to make them smooth as silk and both have a trigger pull in single and double action of less than 4 OZ.  The bottom I had custom built down to the left handed grips. (well before you could get lefty stuff).  Took home a lot of trophies with these 2.

Here are a couple more target wheel guns. The Smith is built off a 10-5 frame by Clarke for PPC shooting. It is now double action only with the lightest smoothest DA on any wheel gun I've ever held.
The Colt started as an Officer Match and was built for Bullseye comp with an offset hammer and a freakishly light single action trigger. Micro sights were added both front and rear. The grips are absolutely beautiful.
Both very different and very fun guns to shoot.
