I will apply for E. WA permits. Will archery hunt WA, if I can find a decent place to take my 81 year old Dad.  The elimination of OTC archery cows in E. WA makes the hunt harder for him.  Might have to take him to W. WA and just not hunt myself.

Oregon for backpack hunting.

You forgot a few states.  I hope to be in Utah, Arizona or New Mexico this year but if I don't draw I will take Idaho as a consolation prize (and a very nice prize it is).  I have a teen in the drawing for youth hunts in Utah and New Mexico so our chance for a tag between the two of us are decent.
I know I've lost it, let me know if you come across it

I’ll have a Colorado deer tag and a Montana deer tag.  Pretty decent chance of using my Utah deer points this year.  Pts again in Wyoming.  In for Outfitter draw in Nevada.  I’ll apply for deer and elk in Idaho...then the WA draws.

Washington is always a filler state for me.  I’ll hunt my multi-season deer tag around my out of state hunts.

Hunted outa state on and off for last 30 years, hunted WA every year up til about 3 years ago now only hunt WA if I draw something.  General WA season with hoofrot just doesn't excite me when I can goto Idaho, Montana, Colorado or BC.
How is BC as far as cost and ease of getting a tag ?

Canada requires a guide for NR big game hunts. Drives up the cost. Not a DIY hunt.
A guide or resident?

Guide is what I've read. If you know a resident who is also a guide then game on!
Non-residents may be accompanied by a qualified "accompany to hunt" individual, who does not need to be a guide.

You have to be related if you are not a resident of canada:

I'm surprised how few are going to Wyoming.

I live 2 hours south and tried for elk, but no such luck.

Probably because they don’t have OTC tags.

I think Unsworthy was a plant by Idaho to encourage more hunters into Idaho!  :P

All of the above but not for elk. WA is it for elk.
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

Applied but did not draw Wyoming.  Applying in Colorado, New Mexico, and Idaho.  Will hunt Idaho OTC if I don't draw anything, and will buy a WA archery or Muzzy tag depending
on when I harvest elsewhere.

I'll hunt WY every year I can pull a general tag.   Not getting any easier with wolves bouncing them around.  I'll continue to hunt WA until I draw out on OIL's or die.

Hope to draw CO for elk this year. Good chance to draw MT deer. ID is a backup if all else fails. Maybe some multi season deer in WA.
