Is this a Blue?  There were three of them, but hey had alot of white in them.  I didn't ever notice that Blues had that much white.

Looks like a blue to me, here's one i got earlier this year up high in gifford pinchot.

Nice lookin birds arent they...i did a little bit of hunting this year and could only find ruffed grouse....but that one sure does have alot of white on it...but i would say its a blue for sure....

Sure looks alot like a blue grouse to me.  But to be honest have not killed a blue since I left Montana 14 years ago.  But if I were to see that in the woods, I would call it a blue grouse.

Bone, I believe both the Blues and the forest have white spots when young. I shot a nice forest west of Adam's on Monday. Later the same day bumped a couple smaller (in mature is my guess) that still had white spots on them in Pack Forest.
