Soon to be fried Gobbler
« on: April 25, 2007, 01:19:48 AM »
This is my first Turkey and I'm hooked.  He was a yearling with a 4 inch beard.  He was so eager to find my buddy Tom that sounded like a lonely hen he almost landed on my head.  I'm stoked to get another before the seasons up.  Might head to Dayton area to do some scouting this week.

Congrats on your first bird.   How are you going to cook him up.  Do you have one of those Cabelas deep fat fryers or whatever?

Yeah I bought some marrinade and a deep fryer from sportsmans.  I've herd of people deep frying walleye and everything in those things.  Just have to be sure not to burn your house down in the process.
