White screen after "Complete" pic upload
« on: November 25, 2007, 05:39:44 PM »
I have been having issues uploading pics to the site (user gallery) recently. When the pic is uploading, if it does not "hang" on the upload screen (load bar stops at full), it will say "Upload Complete" and then I click "continue" only to get a plain white screen with the Hunt Wa boarders...the pics are not too big in memory size and are in jpeg form...anyone else having this issue or is it just me? Cheers

email me the pictures. I would like to attempt to reproduce the issue. I was successful at uploading some pics just now.

I recommend dropping them down below 1000 kb each. They are currently about 3500 kb.

I will also drop the bar down to 2000 each. When you hit the "continue" button the server has to resize those 3.5 megabyte images several times and then get back to you. That's processor intensive and probably causes a timeout or other malfunction.
