WWA Whatcom Chapter FUN SHOOT August 8

Saturday, August 8, 9am-1pm at Lynden Shotgun Club.

Usually lots of raffle items. Last year they had lots of boxes of shotgun shells, art, dozen field decoys, dozen floaters, gun cases, blind bags, etc.

Admission includes lunch, 1 round trap or skeet, 10 raffle tickets, door prize ticket. $20 Adults, $10 children under 12 with adult.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Whatcom Chapter of WWA to support the projects they do as volunteers. Some of the projects they do include:

Teaching Hunter Education to approximately 100 students annually.
Providing conservation projects to Boy Scouts and high school students.
Supporting youth shooting sports.
Supporting the Trumpeter Swan lead poisoning research and mitigation project in Whatcom and Skagit Counties.
Maintaining duck blinds at public hunting areas throughout the county.
Post-season litter patrol and blind cleanup in public hunting areas.
