Browning Gold Hunter Dura-Touch 3.5 Shadow Grass. Three years with it, outstanding.  All weapons are different to each person.  When I throw this one up it fits just right.

Browning BPS stalker, flat black and shoots good for me..
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Benelli Nova. Was black, but hand painted some camo on it after a post i saw over on DHC. Looks pretty decent, but next time i'll use automotive clear coat. I've got my eyes on a new browning maxus if I ever get back to work.

All good guns mentioned.  Started out first gun Mos. 500, then went to the Browning BPS, wore that gun out, picked up 870 wingmaster, then the 870 Mag Express.  Then Benelli came out with the Nova, so I ordered one up and picked it up in 1998.  I wore all the camo off the gun and the choke rusted in place.  Ended up selling it.  Picked up another Nova.  Then decided to go with a semi-auto.  Picked up an 11-87 as I had used the 1100 for trap for a long time.  Didn't care for it.  Traded it for the Browning BPS 10 gauges. Then picked up the Benelli SBEII which I shoot very well.  Recently picked up the Benelli 90 and Winchester sx2 as back up guns for guests.  I'm into the waterfowl thing like an addiction.
Man you go through shotguns like crazy! :yike:

Do you have a sling on your SBE II? If so what kind? and What swivels?

Just started waterfowl hunting last year.  I have a few shotguns in the house all older with full chokes so I started shopping for a new gun.  Almost got a super nova but didn't like it as much as the Remington 11-87 that I settled on.  I grew up shooting trap with my grandfathers 1100's so it was a easy transition for me.  I can only shoot 3" but I have not found the need to shoot 3 1/2" shells yet.  I upgraded and got a few calson's chokes for it.  It seems to do just fine on ducks.

I have a Final Approach Sling.  I picked up some Stainless Steel sling clips.  Possibly Uncle Mikes.  I had standard ones, but they rusted out from the salt water gunning.
Cut em!

Yeah I can't make the uncle mikes swivels fit the stud on the butt stock of my shotgun. I think if I just use a little sand paper I can round off the edges of the stud and make it work.

I started duck hunting 30 years ago with a Remington 1100 youth 20 gauge.  For the last 20+ years I use a 12ga 870.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

They have various models to choose from, so you shouldn't have to modify the gun as there are ones available that will work.  I had to do some digging for mine as well.
