Went out today before work and killed one female. Got home from work around 5:30, after dinner went back out and called in a double, shot both but only killed one DRT, the other won't make it thru the night, he is hit hard but I wasn't chasing after him, much too late. All taken with 55gr Noslers from a 223 AR and all under 300 yards.
They are sooooo stupid and call up easy  :chuckle:.

 Can't wait till October.
Checkin' wind and makin' smoke.

It's a good question of if we'll do it.....but I will say, I haven't seen hardly any dogs this summer.   Seriously, I see a few tracks, but have seen maybe half a dozen in 4 months!

But it wouldn't hurt my feelings if it started Nov 1.  Big10 is going to work on his 30 point cat calling.....

BTW, I have some suggestions as well.  I think the points (should we do it again) need to be higher for the more primitive weapons.  I think a bow kill in E. Wa is tougher than a normal kill in Western Wa.

I do think this might be a moderator issue.  We kept em busy last year  :chuckle:....that, and the perception thing.

BTW, FALfire, post your pics!  I'd like to see em!

After you were through with them last winter what was left probably packed up and left!   :chuckle:
