No people will tamely surrender their Liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffused and Virtue is preserved. On the Contrary, when People are universally ignorant, and debauched in their Manners, they will sink under their own weight without the Aid of foreign Invaders.

Here’s a couple from today, both shot by Bullelk, The first one came in to about 150 yards during my version of a rabbit getting ravished against it’s will, but the coyote knew something wasn’t quite right and really was eyeballing the area. We were trying to get him in to less than 100 yrds so I could shoot him with my 223 Contender pistol but he wouldn’t turn broadside for me, he finally decided that he had enough and turned and started a slow trot out of there. I told BullElk to take him and he did at 147 yrds. The second one came in to the same song and dance and stopped behind some brush in my way at about 50 yrds, it trotted up to about 35 yds and another sagebrush was in my way. Finally it winded us and took off but instead of running down the ravine it crossed it and came up the other side and stood broadside at 150 yrds for BullElk to make his shot. I did take a shot earlier in the day at a coyote in a dirt field with my AR but shot about a foot low as we could see the bullet hit between it’s legs. Don’t know why I missed as it was standing broadside, must have been because it was 810 yds.   :'(

Hello everyone!

First a couple of changes for Team Tombo and Son.. Can we get the name of our team changed to Team Yote Down? Second, I would like to add Lorenzo to the team.

Now to the story. AJ and I went out Friday and called most of the day with no luck. We had one come in on the first set, but he came from the wrong way, sat on a hill at about 550 yards, in the exact spot the sun came up. :bash:

Lorenzo, AJ, and myself went out all day yesterday and had a small amount of luck. The only coyotes we saw all day, except the one in the pic, were seen from the truck. The one pictured below was taken while walking in to our next stand. It was a 196 yard freehand shot. :dunno: I guess my calling skills suck :P

Sagebrush Stalker and I went out today, Big10gauge wasn't able to go out, so he lent me his new 223 contender, which we just sighted it in yesterday. We called in this young female on the second call of the day. I was able to dump her at about 65 yrds. We called in another, but couldn't close the deal. Next time he won't be so lucky, I hope.

went out two nights ago. a guy in the next valley was squeeling a distress call and we had a fox pop out of the brush about 30 yards away and move into the clearing infront of us mousing. by time my wife got the gun on him and pulled the trigger he was about 65 yards. BOOM. she flopped him right there with my 308. I saw his tale flip around a little then he got up an started stumbling toward the brush. Wife couldnt get him in the scope again before he made it to the brush. we found a little blood and tried to get him with the Schweisshunde but he was no where to be found.  She was pretty dissapointed. I was she she got him.  Oh wait...... coyotes...... never mind. lol

Put Team Deadfowl on the board baby!!! Went out on a solo mission today and got lucky. Thanks to my daughter for crying and waking me up. I couldn't fall back to sleep so i kissed her and the wife and went out for a hunt. It was a good day. Got some pics with my cell phone. The first dog came in to my left at about ten yards. I waited until he started to turn away and shot him in the A$$ at about 20 yards. The next dog came in after about 3 min of calling. I spotted him at about 300 yards. When he stopped at a hundred to take a look at things i put one right in the base of the neck. I would have let him get closer but i didn't have anybody filming me so a hundred yard shot was just fine.
