when I think of 3 point, I think of a 1X2..... But I'm from the east coast and we can all count past five so we count them all :P  I guess you westerners have trouble counting when you have to use more than one hand :chuckle: :chuckle:

1x2 is a 3? I call those trikes  :chuckle:
And for your info...that other hand is to hold the beer! :IBCOOL:

Coasthunter..... Most trophy hunters or guys that are serious about Muleys only count whats on the main frame.  A four point is 4 points on one side with or without eyeguards.  You'll hear it said this way....I shot a nice 4 point tday with eyeguards, if it didn't have them it would be I shot a nice 4 point today.  Whitetails get one side counted and most of the time eyeguards get counted as they are darn near as big as the average point.  I shot a 4 point today is one f Miles 8 pointers.  He Miles...did you see the picture of the shedding buck I had on my frosty thread.   Its almost time.

what if a muley has multiple eyeguards? I have a great rack with about two eye guards and a sticker on one side and another sticker on the other side. both stickers being an inch long...

If he is mostly typical, you'd say 4 pointer with a couple stickers and double eyeguards.  You wouldn't say 8 pointer.
This is just elitest talk by the way so you sound cool by the campfire with the good ole' boys.  You can call it whatever you want. :)

Once they get more than about  8 good poits per side, you can count them all    8x9  6x9 still adding with eyeguards.

The COOOL thing to do is not count the eyeguards but add them.

What a odd looking rack, very unique. Thats a very cool 3X2 in my book.

I should have known that I would get that kind of logic from an east coaster.  You almost had me on teh fish, then I remembered you guys do nothing but catch Bass and Crappie, so you probably need all the inches you can get. :chuckle:

There ya go jackelope!  at least someone around here can count ;)  If it grows it, then why not count it?  When you catch a fish you don't measure from the gills back but then say...... Man it had a monster head though :chuckle: :chuckle:  If you guys only count one side,  then how come you count both when it comes to score.  If you're only going to count one side, then you should only score one side :P  Makes sense!
