Those are crazy numbers I'm just passed 20  and thought I was doing well. Way to go.

I've been averaging 3.3 birds/hunt on very public land hunts.

Only hunted private fields 3 times this season.  The rest were on public spots.  Need more northerns down to hit the other spots.

I'm hoping to get three days in a row out this weekend. Friday will be up north, start with puddlers, then possibly venture into the salt again now that I have my card printed (see if I can't find that harli), then Sat and Sun stay home and hunt private land in south king county... even with 3 limites i'll be a long ways away from 100 though! (unless I can get into some coot and snipe, hehe).

3 days 16 birds. 6 on the opener, 10 the next weekend.  A good start for me with minimal days in the field.  Gotta get out more!!!  Going this weekend, got a few spots that should produce limits lined up.

Until Sunday (18 birds, 8 hunters) we have had a pretty good year so far.  Before Sunday I think we averaged 35 birds with 5.5 hunters per trip, all public.

I don't do the large groups anymore.  I had a spot down south years back where we would hunt 15-20 guys in a long custom pit blind that was in the middle of a flooded corn field.  We used about 1000 duck decoys and by the time they hit the ground, you didn't know who's bird was who's.  It was a good shoot.  The group usually was limited out by 10:00 or 11:00.  A large pile of ducks.

Sounds like a blast, but you're right it can be a lot of work.  For us the hardest part was communication.  It was raining and blowing, so everyone had hoods on and we were in laydowns, so telling everyone where birds were and calling shots was pretty difficult.  Definitely fun every once in a while though.

Season started out good for me and has gotten progressively worse:

7, 7, 7, 2, 1, 1, 0, 0 = 25

Somebody’s been out there educating the ducks (maybe it’s me).

I got 38 ducks and 1 goose so far this season.  I made a goal to shoot 200 ducks this season I'm on track so far.
