Stop it! Stop it! You are killing me!!!   :'(

Yeah, I am already ready to go. I just need to get my son out a few more times with his new shotgun, put some rounds thru it. Other than that, I am good to go. Bring it on!

 :hello:

Hey Bearmanric, we have about 7 or 8 of us from our local NWTF chapter going over to Colville/Kettle Falls. We always camp at the fairgrounds in colville, you or anybody else can always stop by in the evening and have a beer and compare notes. Cant miss our group, NWTF banner, turkey wind socks and spare tire covers, astro-turf lawn. We always meet some real nice people camped their, and get some good tips as well. :hunter:

Went out shooting today. tried out three different shots today. I think I found a great choke/shot combo. Those turkeys are in trouble this year.

Turkey loads sure kick a lot more then target loads, After about 6 rounds you sure can feel it. How much more does a 3 1/2 inch kick compared to a 3" round.

i say if you got a good pattern out of a 3" round, then don't bother with a 3 1/2...it will hurt too much :chuckle:

Craig

I have killed a few turkeys here in Klickitat county.  I use Winchester MagnunXX turkey loads.  2 3/4 inch  in # 5 shot.  I have shot 3 inch but can't tell any difference in shot placement, and they don't hurt as much.  Nothing to gain when you are in pain.  Besides I found myself flinching.
