My Idaho Moose
« on: March 02, 2010, 08:11:17 PM »
Got my moose back today from stollers sports in raymond. The moose had a 42 inch spread with a triple brow on the left side and a double on the right side. It had an 18 and a half inch bell that looked neat. Have to fix a spot for it but wanted to post the pictures. One is with me and the other my son Jeff in the yard we are really happy with the work.

It cost 1000.00 dollars thats why it;s once in a lifetime. Hope you get one the hunt for me was really special. I read all the moose posts on here over and over but you really don;t know until you walk up to one on the ground how big they really are. This one was 400 yards uphill and it still took 3 and a half hours to get it down.

Great trophy and very nice taxidermy work.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Very nice,  I like that bell on that one. Nice and long, a lot of them I got in Alaska did not have a bell because of frostbite.

Kenzmad - A 1000.00 is about the going rate on a moose. usually a year or less turn around.
