So is that the 15k buck?  If it is thank you and keep spending the money.  I could never afford it, but genuinely I do appreciate a person helping out.  No sarcasm at all.  Nice deer regardless of the price.

You don't have to spend $15'000 to kill a deer like that in Washington. $4500. will work! :chuckle:

Thanks for getting it on here.
Nice bucks outfitter.  I'll stick to my $45 if you don't mind :)  Though I do appreciate people helping out the local economy and the gov tag holder for supporting our wildlife.

The price of an over the counter tag....couldn't actually tell you what one runs these days as I buy the package deal.  I do know its cheaper than a couple grand though, until you factor the gas in though.  Now that you mention it, buying shed antlers and antlers on ebay would probably be even cheaper. :)

Speaking of gov tags....I had an exhibitor booth at the Seattle Sportsmen's Convention this weekend in Bellevue (Washington's Largest Wildlife Fundraiser)
3 Govener tags were auctioned off...I think this is what they ended up selling for.

Westside Elk.......$22,000
Westside Deer....$6500
Moose...............$20,000

If you've never been to this event, check it out next year!  It was alot of fun, and the proceeds of the event (which was over $500,000) benefit WA Wildlife, Hunters Rights & the reintroduction of pronghorn antelope in WA State.

They have had antelope in the Yakima firing center for years but they never took off because of certain military activity.

Doug has it made he can stay with Pops. Get a good cooked meal and nice shower afterwards. Besides being right in what used to be prime hunting country. That is unless he decides to siwash it. Can u say spoiled? :chuckle: :chuckle:

Your right Sky, I was pretty spoiled, especially in that NASTY weather.  I hunted 9 days on one tank of gas.  Probably some road hutners on here that wish they got that kind of mileage. LOL
