I've got some better ones if I can find them...the smoky ones are from when the school fire was burning 5 years or ago or so...
I'll keep looking.

can't say as much about dayton unit but lick creek can be steep and deep if you are chasing a big bull.  best be in real good shape if you are thinking about lick creek great hunt but not for the week.  other than the main roads not much area you can drive to a kill.  could be several miles from a road and several thousand feet in elevation changes if you go down into a hole like the north fork of asotin creek, devils tail bone or dark canyon. lots of public land though. hey jackelope that last pick does not look like lick creek? not many wheat fields in that unit.  that's my  :twocents:
"Shoot the spike".  It's much easier to pack out!

it's off of the peola road looking into the lick. it might not be standing in the  lick but the background is for sure. it's just a short distance from the 1st one I posted. I might have been standing in the peola unit...can't remember for sure. The neat thing about lick creek is the different types of country there is there...lots of different kind of stuff. You can hunt deep and steep or take it easy, whatever your style is.

long range crummy photography in the almost dark accompanied by large tracts of private land make for bad pics of huge whitetails.
