Idaho Bears
« on: June 13, 2010, 06:35:50 PM »
Well this last week I took a trip down south in Idaho. I was really trying to tag a color phase bear.
I did get pictures of these blonde bears, but never got a shot at one...
I had to come home for a wedding this weekend and probably wont make it down that far south again this season. I put a bait out further north in Idaho and checked it on my way home. This little choclate bear is coming in. Hopeing to make it back over there this next week.

Also took some pictures of some nice bull elk. Ill post those in the picture section..

Let em grow.   8)  Beautiful coats, just imagine how nice they will be when they are 6 footers.  Good luck.

Yep, none of them are big.. Hoping something bigger will show up, but id rather shoot a small color phase then a big black.. Thats just me thought! Ive killed plenty of black bears and never anything colored.
Besides... they charge for bear rugs by the foot! :dunno:
