It's not poaching to me if it's a wolf, I would call it saving our way of life when it comes to hunting deer and elk in the state that we have invested a lot of money into our wildlife. We need to protect our wildlife from predators that have not been here in the past, period. SSS

I hope I never have to face that dilemna again, with my bad luck I would pull the trigger drop the wolf and boom a nat geo camera crew comes out of the bushes.

Saw one up in the Ingalls pass area during the high hunt a couple years ago. At long range it looked like a yote until I got the scope on him.  Too many people to "disturb the area"....... Definately a BAD thing for the area!

I wish i could have shot him. I just hope it is not to late for washingtons wildlife before our game managers get in this fight. Anyone know the contact info for WDFW in the Teanaway

They are a endangered species, so contact the Cle Elum Ranger District lead Biologist (National Forest Service). Also there is a WDFW office in Ellensburg or the regional office in Yakima. Most likely they will want to interview you, and take detailed description of where you saw it. Then they will maybe spend one day looking for it and just push it under the rug.

used in rural communities usually with regards to stray dogs

shoot shovel shh or shutup ..... basically problem dogs are best quickly and quietly put them down and underground....

and for those who forget the middle part it really tics me off to have bury the problem you shot (on my property) so the neighbor doesn't accuse me :bash: :bash:
