Experienced urban Coyote hunters around Yelm
« on: May 30, 2011, 07:32:01 PM »
Here's the deal, A friend of mine is having problems with coyotes. I offered to help her thin them out, but I just haven't had time to be much help. I left her my 17 Rem rifle so that if she sees one, she can take a shot with a gun that will put the coyote down without knocking her down.

She lives right outside of town, so you need to work around houses and farm animals. That's why I'd really like to find an experienced "urban hunter" to help out.  I'm not looking to hire somebody, just hoping to find someone who's looking to shoot some coyotes for fun.

If anybody is interested, shoot me a PM. Like I said, I'd love to go out there and shoot them myself, but I just don't have time.

If you could get Steibers to let you hunt in their fields, you'd be right on top of them. ;)

OK, can you get access? there are a ton of coyotes in the area but it is very difficult. shotgun only show and you call a lot of domestic, unless you can control the environment. I killed a few off 133, vail loop, Morris,. 123rd. still get a few, gotta call quiet. night time works but I hate it. I have a couple sites that work in the area but there are a lot of houses and pets.
I have access to several parcels there but each neighbor is different.
