as far as i know there is no limit. after the first year there is a penalty fee and it gets steeper each year. i think it goes as far out as 3 years on the akc forms.

Are you planning on breeding her eventually? Because if not, I don't believe there's any reason to register a dog. I could be wrong, but I know I've had a Golden Retriever and a German Shorthair, and now a Brittany, and none of them ever registered, although I had the paperwork and could have done it. I just never saw the point in doing it.   :twocents:

You have up to one year with no penalty.  After that there is an extra $65 fee. 

John Greer of Tiger Mt. labs has really good hunting dogs with great temperments, and Teddy is a great stud( I have one of his daughters), but I would make sure you have the dogs hips checked before you make up your mind about weather you have him cut or not. :twocents:

I have a 12wk old yellow female with both parent's out of Tiger Mountain lineage.
