Late archery deer in Unit 101
« on: October 23, 2010, 11:06:46 AM »
Any insight as to where to start looking? I'm trying to find my son something he can get close to. Is there any public land available?

Thanks

Tons of public land tons of hunters as well.  Try Lambert Creek to the border.

Bottom country is all to mostly private, if there is snow the majority of the deer will be on private land.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

Lots of public land, alot of hunters but if you get off the beaten path shouldn't be too hard to find deer, although the whitetail population is not what it used to be up there. :twocents:
