Women in camp are great.. that way the guys do not have to worry about cooking or cleaning up the mess.   :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

The last year we hunted Teanaway as a group everyone brought their wives/girlfriends.  We thought that they were going to stay at camp, cook, maybe head into Cle Elum for fresh beer and such, but not the case.  The first day 2 of the wives ventured off on their own and shot bucks.  The third day another wife got her buck.  All of thier deer were within 1/2 mile of camp.  It is pretty humbling when you get back to camp after hiking from 2 hours before daylight until 2 hours after dark to find the women sitting around the fire half drunk with a couple of decent bucks hanging and you are empty handed.  I can't wait to share a camp with my daughters!

Did somebody say 'pork chops'?

It was a pretty good time!  Only 2 of us out of 9 (including the gals) didn't get our deer that week.  My cousin and I held out for monsters during the late hunt.  The women were really fun on that trip and decided to be "domestic godesses" and keep the camp up for us after they got their deer.  Not once did they rub our noses in it and they actually volunteered to be our drop off rides.

We've had years where the women outnumbered the men before.  This year we also had 3 one yearold babies in camp.  My nieces all decided to babies at the same time.  Nothing wrong with it.  You go girls!

I've never had girls in camp but wouldn't be against it!  I'd much rather snuggle up next to my woman than my stinky, sweaty buddy at the end of a long day.  Just sayin.. :chuckle:

I have no problem when the gals come to deer camp. It's always nice to be able to have a few drinks and watch a beautiful sunset with the girl. There's been many times I've been out in the field and thought damn, I wish Kate was here to see this. If they want to help cook, clean camp and make beer runs I'm not going to complain.

Jeez, Iceman!  I know I spend too much time on here, when i realize I'm watching your kids grow up.  I remember when they were little, and I've never met them!   :chuckle:
