Hello,
Just wanted to share.  I took my 2 year old son out today looking for turkey.  We just moved here this winter so I was not too upbeat about what we may find.  We went north  of Spokane by Chewela.  We had a great day.  Saw quite a few turkeys, luckily, many within 50 yards of us.  I got one to gobble at us at about 15 yards by whistling at it.  My son then gobbled back at the turkey, it was pretty funny.  He kept yelling turkey every time we saw one and got soo excited.  Turned out being a great day out with my little man.  Looking forward to going out this season.  Still a ton of snow up there.

I am heading out to newport area on wed.  Taking my 4 year old.  Hopefully they are still gobbling.  Hopefully we see some and not just hear them from far off this year. Good luck to all.

Sounds like you had a great day with your son,  I think I may take 4 year old out this year, he loves to see turkeys.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or destroy it, piss on it and walk away!
