I wish that I still had pics of my first buck but that was almost 40 years ago when I was 6.

I'm glad I at least have the pic, I shoulder mounted the buck, but when i was in the navy I had my dad hold onto it, he put it in a storage unit somewhere and he passed away, nobody knew where the storage unit was so it's gone forever, sucks.

I dug up a picture (bad one) of my first archery blacktail buck.  I miss the good old days.

Man that's a bum deal. Dandy first buck though.

HuntingFanatic: Pretty cool deal to get your first buck with a lever-action. I'm sure that added a lot to the memories and experience.

PathfinderJR's first buck.  Age 9.

The year was 93 I was 16.  As you could tell I had a little buck fever.  Great thread.  I had to dig this pic out of a box.  Brings back some good memories.

1974; near Livingston, Mt.  It was great hunting right out the door of our house.  I got him with a Rem. 742 in .308.  Not the greatest gun for a new hunter.  Don't miss it at all.
