Me and the wife are heading to some brutal country in Oregon tomorrow to find a couple bruins. Couldn't have asked for a better forecast. Good luck to everyone else. ;)

Good luck Jake...I have a feeling you won't disappoint.

Have fun!  Watch the small canyons for flash floods.  Lots of rain lately in localized areas makes for a good reason to watch your backside.
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

We're back. My wife made a great 275yd shot on a Purdy little blonde bear. Pics will come soon. I'm heading back next weekend. 11 miles in 1 day, 4 of it with a bear on my back in hells canyon is cause for some rest.

Legs did good. That's one reason I'm home. Didn't want to push it too much.

She's not going next trip. She loved it but there were times climbing those hills that I thought she was gonna give me a 150 grain grandslam in the back.
I'm pretty proud though. Most men I know wouldn't have done what she did. Not to mention make an absolutely perfect shot at 275yds after trying to run up 3000 vertical feet.
