How's 660?
« on: July 14, 2011, 07:22:25 PM »
I'm going to take a few trips into 660 over the next couple months to scout for deer in a hope to fill my fathers antlerless tag towards the end of the season, and once bear is open you know I'll have my rifle along for the ride. I was kind of wondering how the area is for bear though. Any success stories? Pics? Thanks.

It's been several years since I've spent much time in that unit, but I know there are a few bears. I also know the part that Weyerhaeuser owns will likely have hound hunters in there chasing the bears around, with depredation permits. I'd find one of the DNR gates and get in behind it as far as you can.
