elk raffle tag- where would you go?
« on: August 25, 2011, 04:31:37 PM »
Where would you use your elk tag if you drew. The tag season is Sept 1 - Dec 31 for any unit that is open with any weapon.  I would hunt the Clockum 328 on the east side , west side I thinking Margaret.

Can't wait for rafflemule to tell us his pick :chuckle: he had the east side tag this year.

I don't put in for the elk but if I did it would be east side and I would head to the blues

328 would be my 2nd choice.
I'd be MtnCook's 4 month long customer, if need be.  :chuckle:

Probably where the biggest elk I found was at.   I'd probably check out several.    The natives gleaned that 400 bull out of the Clockum, at least I am figuring....probably not tons of them there.  I'd probably try to find the other one in the valley.   Theres one in the Wenas that I'd love but haven't seen him, so he might be gone.  Then I'd saunter to the blues and find some hell hole.

Definitly the clockum because there are no elk in the blues.  I cant believe you guys keep saying that there are. I know you are just trying to trick people to go there so they aren't hunting in your area.  NO Elk in the blues quit wasting your time 8)
