My friend was at entiat for a weekend and he saw nothing  :dunno: Never hunted deer there, but I heard they migrate, and I don't know when they do that. Sorry

Teanaway's numbers are still rebounding after being hit with hair loss so I wouldn't have that unit at the top of the list, although if you are coming over from the westside it is the closest unit.  Dont know much about the mission or entiat as far as resident deer numbers go.

Look at last year's harvest report and you'll see that Entiat and Mission had a success rate for archery hunters that was three times better than Teanaway. (8%)

My wife and I were in the okanagon area in Chesaw for the end of August. We were sitting on the deck of the cabin, and were glassing over 30 deer, at least half were bucks across the valley in one sitting (across a 1 mile stretch). So I would say if you got the time off, and can tolerate the cattle in the forest, and of course the bald faced hornets, yeah Id hunt there.

Do those count the late archery tags though?

I was just looking at general season statistics. The special permits are separate.
