Did you try changing the battery yet?
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

Two thing you can try short of calling a manufacturer repairman or locksmith.

1)  Put in a fresh Battery as previously mentioned.

2)  All electronic safe locks will lock themselves down if incorrect combos are put in 4 time I believe.  Usually they reset in 15 to 20 minutes.

As a last resort you'll need a safe technician to get into it if nothing else works.

Good Luck...

What worked?  New battery?  Or reset?

Battery! It was wierd, when I was pressing my code the buttons still had the tone and the red led would still flash! There was no indicator at all that the battery was low! Everything was the same exept the door wouldnt open! I changed the battery and it worked fine! Good to know that for anybody with this safe!

Does it have a key override?

I have a Sentry with a key override. Just after getting it the solenoid went out on mine. I thought it was the batteries too, as it would act like it was working, it just wouldn't unlock. They sent me a new solenoid and I swamped it out and no problems since.
