thieves suck. its one thing to swipe an object, and a whole nother thing to take an animal that misses you as much as you miss it.

friend, i wish you and your pals the best of luck.

I called and explained to the breeder and Rugers trainer Doug and Alice Burnett of Cooke Canyon,It was hard on them as well as Myself. We got to talking about this up and coming season and the plans I had for Ruger and Me, Doug said I have some started dogs if you are interested. He said for what kind of personality I have the started lab he didn't think would work,He said but I have a German wirehair pointer that would work. We talk a little about price and I was floored by his good will. So the "puppy breath thing" is what is needed, Not to mention this dog has already been through Doug's 2 month upland bird school and worked over on water retrieves. He said this dog is a great dog and He thought We would make a good team. So over to Cooke Canyon I go. Thanks again everybody..Whitey

Wayne on the point of getting a started dog, I was thinking I might be missing out on what I think is a very important part of the dogs life is the "bonding" We all do with are dogs when they are pups.I am kind of torn on this issue. Should We start another thread? What do you think?
