RIP State Trooper

My condolences to the Trooper killed in the line of duty.  Thoughts and prayers to the family.  Catch the punk and hang him!

Prayers are sent.  May God heal the hurt the family is going through.  Traffic stops and domestic violence calls are the ones that can the most dangerous.  Hope they catch the punk, and award the death penalty.

Unfortunately, we live in Washington, where he'll probably go to trial, blame us as a society, and be issued a formal apology for mentally scarring his growth as an individual! My condolences to the trooper and his family.

The thing that bothers me most about this as of right now is that here I am, stuck at work. My girlfriend unarmed at home with the dogs because they have a vet appointment this morning, and the search is less than a mile from my house and helicopters are buzzing over head our property all morning. Im sick to my stomach because I can't be there to protect my family from this dirt bag POS.

Technically the rifles are all at home, but the handgun is with me like it always is. The first thing we do after this is going to be to go get her CWP and a handgun of her choosing.

In other news, the shooter was located holed up in a nearby house. Shot himself as SWAT was about to breach and enter, on the way to the hospital now....

One of my employees has been kinda draggng feet around work today, so I pulled him aside to see what was going on. If it was work related, that sort of thing. His response to me was "I woke up at 213 am to a phone call from my girlfriend telling me ---- ----- was shot and killed this morning" I guess he and the troopers son went to school together and are really good friends and the trooper is friends with his girlfriends parents.

He got the rest of the day off, paid. I am working on getting him tomorrow off as well.

This is crazy.... RIP.... Yesterday I had to go into Bremerton and pick up my friends kids from school after the boy shot the girl..... Got woke up this am at 2 by helicopters searching my area.... Cops all over the place.... My neighbor (a state trooper) called me at 3:30 am and told me to make sure my doors and windows were locked that the gunmen was close and on the loose.... Did want my daughter and her friend to ride the bus so I drove them to school and had a part at Westbay to pick up..... Took 2 hours to get back home.... Wife just left for work....An hour early.... Hope the *censored* dies a painful death..... Just saw a picture of the guy on the news.... I went to school with him and his brother....

Trooper killed
GORST, Wash. -- The suspect who may have shot and killed a Washington State Patrol trooper in Kitsap County early Thursday was found with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and transported to Tacoma General Hospital, said the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office.

"At 9:11 a.m., the Kitsap County Sheriff's SWAT team approached a house on Scofield Road in south Kitsap County, acting on a tip as to the possible location for the registered owner of the truck that we're looking for," said Kitsap County Sheriff's spokesman Ken Dickinson. "As they approached the house, they heard a single gunshot come from the area of the house. They approached and found a male subject with a self-inflicted gunshot wound injury."

Neither Kitsap County Sheriff's Office nor WSP confirmed the identity of the suspect, however, a friend of the suspect identified him as 28-year-old Josh Blake. He was last listed at Tacoma General Hospital as being in critical condition.

Another one of those stories where the pos took a life of a innocent and then his own.  It's tragic they ruin somebody else's life because theirs is so worthless, these last few months have been horrible.
When you see the third, thin the herd.

No surprise he had a history of meth use.  The brain damage happens so quick and is so bad, shooting himself may actually be the first smart thing hes done since.

It's been found to eat holes in brain tissue just like syphilis.

My girlfriends best friends husband is a Kitsap County Sheriffs Deputy. He was friends with the trooper. Very sad indeed. The trooper was shot in the face in his patrol car as he was getting out. Never had a chance. I hope the dirt bag that shot him is burning in hell about now.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

Been listening to news reports all night. This Trooper sounds Like he was a damn good man and a fine example of a Trooper.

He came to the US from Romania as a teen. Served in the Military, has a son at JBLM. Became a standout Trooper, spoke 5 languages which got him called upon in many situations and was a favorite speaker at schools.

R.I.P.
