Saw another believer on I-5. Sorry for the blurry pic but it is only fitting considering the subject.

I've had my own experiences and I honestly have little doubt that it's possible, I wouldn't be surprised at all,

Some skeptics or I should say non-believers exist in NM.  There is a bill there to ban state funded schools from looking for Bigfoot.

http://krqe.com/2017/02/08/bigfoot-expedition-inspires-bill-banning-state-funded-searches-for-mythical-creatures/

Quote
SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – KRQE News 13’s Larry Barker first exposed a UNM expedition to find Bigfoot back in October — a foray into the forest paid for by you. Now, a lawmaker wants to make it illegal for state-funded colleges to go hunting for mythical creatures.

The bill comes from a Gallup senator who Larry Barker spoke with during his investigation. The bill would stop trips like the one Dr. Christopher Dyer of the UNM-Gallup campus took last year.

“We took one day and we went up there, yeah, walked around,” Dr. Dyer said.

In response to what happened, Sen. George Munoz is sponsoring a bill that would ban public funds from being spent on “looking for or catching a fictitious creature.”

“It’s sad that we have to do this, that they don’t have the ethics, that UNM doesn’t have the ethics to stop this,” Sen. Munoz said. “And now we have to draft bills to stop something that is not morally right,” Sen. Munoz said.

The senator had a little fun with the bill. It also bans publicly funded searches for Pokemon, leprechauns and the Bogeyman.

Sen. Munoz said what Dr. Dyer did was unfair to students because they pay a lot of money to go to school and it shouldn’t be spent on this.

Outgoing President Bob Frank previously told KRQE News 13 that the Bigfoot expedition was inappropriate and would not happen again.

A Co worker asked if Bigfoot had stopped by, and if he did to be sure to have a beer with him.  I told him I am totally willing to drink a beer with bigfoot.  It's at this point they all seem to know I belong out here, alone in the woods with skunks, and bigfoots.  Oh so far I have bagged one skunk, but I still have one under the shed.  I also now have designated skunk trapping boots.  :yike: :chuckle: >:(

It's a terrible subject to bring up, a bit like religion! But that's the deal- either people have seen evidence, or not. Without an experience or two, stating that you have a "Belief" just gives weak-minded folks a chance to show how "smart" they are, by agreeing with the herd, and doing some bullying. Of course, not sticking your neck out, even when when you HAVE  some "experiences" Is either cowardly, or smart, depending on the crowd.
There's no question as to whether or not the things existed- they did-
It's in the fossil record.
(Gigantopithecus is a likely candidate, but there are others too)
Also-
The Army Corps of Engineers did a study of all the flora & fauna of WA state and found the existence of a large unknown primate "likely."
The problem is...
Attitude.
It took 60 years to collect a body of a Second giant panda after they were first discovered, and those are some Damn tame, slow, and stupid animals.
Black & white colored while living in a green & brown forest to boot!
And not likely to scare anybody either.
I've met Several people who were either combat Veterans, or cops, and they Still had the S*** scared outta them by their encounter, and wisely kept mum about it too.
I used to do radio, and I've interviewed John Green. I've talked to Matt Moneymaker, and other people in the field. It's a bizarre cross section of humanity, but they certainly were neither crazy nor dumb.
It's just a species of hominid. And since that freaks people out, you'll get angry replies.
I believe.
No room for doubt. I have often wished there was though. Absurd subject!
Yet the BFRO has more sightings reported in Wa than any other state, almost 500 can be seen on their website, some of the naysayers might even get on that Map they have, and find a sighting that occurred near their homes. Might even recognize a neighbor who reported seeing one!

I watched a little bit of the movie "Harry and the Hendersons".
As hard a s I tried, it was still unbelievable.
Maybe if I watch "Rudolph the rednosed reindeer" I will have an epiphany.
If that doesn't work maybe Runamuk or Dan'O will take me out for drinks.

Never heard of John Greene, highly respected bioligist/primatiligist I imagine.
I would hate to go to school as his children.
They'd be the laughingstock of the class.
Can you imagine?

Good info.     Thanks for posting.   :hello:

Thanks (if your comment was about my posts)! I will continue getting into my sources. I think I'll do a summary on some of the hair evidence that exists to date. If my memory serves me correctly, there is in indeterminate hair profile that has many human and ape characteristics. Of course, the problem with hair is you need an actual specimen for comparison. Until that point comes, any specimen will be stuck in the indeterminate category but it's very interesting. I'll be back...

Yeah, I like reading about bigfoot evidence and sightings.

I'm actually watching Finding Bigfoot right now.  The show is really corny most of the time but I can't help but watch it.

That is an interesting video and it's noteworthy that those tracks seem to be in a straight line  as in each track is almost directly behind the leading track. The human gait leaves prints that are slightly offset, with the toes almost always pointed slightly outward. Cool!
