I'm applying for the first time in Colo, just for points this year.  But my elk says "Non Res Antlerless Elk App"  I don't want cow tag points...I want points for Bull...any help would be great!

Already sent $ down there, just for a point again. Have five points for deer. I think we need four more for the unit we want to hunt.

Silk, when you buy an elk point you only have to front the tag fee for a cow tag. Which is 350ish instead or having to front a bull elk tag fee which is 580ish. There are no bull only or cow only points. They are just elk points.

I have my moose preference but would rather not apply.  I think I skipped last year.  I guess I'll front it maybe and keep from losing the preference points.  YOU HAVE TO HAVE 3 in order to be eligible.

Why aren't you applying for moose Bone?  Some great hints down there.

I apply for moose, sheep, and goat in CO. Love their point system for the OIL species. (I know not truly OIL but you get it.). It is is my first year eligible for the draw for goats, still one year away on moose and sheep.

Looking at Colorado for my first out of state hunt. I know Colorado like many states sell off their "leftover" tags from the draw. Are there many of these leftover tags or are there only a few and are gone in a couple hours? I'm mainly looking at deer and antelope.

Mostly money watch Shane.    I'm pretty sure I'll get in.   I'm behind in my research, but I think I always put in for 18.   I'll probably write the check this afternoon.

Colorado left over tags very rare IMO.

I would look to ID and MT for leftovers.  WY has OTC lope units. Check WY site for tags available this year.

CO has a leftover draw for anyone that applied and didn't draw.  Then if there are any tags left anyone can buy them.
