Coyote Hunting, Public Land, Central Cascades?
« on: June 24, 2012, 05:00:36 PM »
I know this has been asked before ...

What are some decent public areas along the I-90 corridor where there is a possibility to find some Coyotes (or other varmints)?  L.T. Murray area?  http://wdfw.wa.gov/lands/wildlife_areas/lt_murray/

Not looking for secret spots.  Just a newbie out here thats looking where to start doing some looking.  In the Puget Sound area and am pretty sure there is not public space around here.

Thank You.

I've called the Lt Murray a couple of times and have called coyotes, also north of the wind farms between eburg and vantage.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Make mine a Minaska

There is a ton of public land from just east of Snoqualmie pass all the way to the Columbia on both sides of I90.  Finding good spots to call takes time. There are alot of people around camping, hiking, rideing, ect. on the weekends. The further east you go, the higher the coyote population.
