« on: July 01, 2012, 03:38:01 PM »
Been consumed by the kid and work all year  but I broke away today to check out a few new spots  and set my cam out for a brief soak . Thanks to all who have been posting their pics for triggering the fever again!!  Hope to be posting some critter pics in the next week .

~  ~One of my favorite clothing patterns is camouflage. Because when you're in the woods it makes you blend in. But when you're not it does just the opposite. It's like "hey, there's an *censored*."”

Be come one with Nature......... Then Marinade it.

One moment you're flying south for the winter, then - BANG - gravy.

Should be interesting--lotsa critters over there!
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

I've seen a ton of yotes up here this year and a couple nice bucks in velvet so I'm hoping to get something. And theres always a surplus of bears so we'll see!

First spot was a bust so i moved it over to a nice little game trail. After 2 days all i got was momma and her fawn. cute little bugger.  Gonna re- set it in a few days with some apples to see if i can get a bit more action.

Some pics from the last month sept through october

the last few pics are from this morning of the stubby 2x2.
The first few are of  a stud that was being shy with the camera but was hot on the chase of a doe that bolted as soon as he got close. man i wish he turned around just once to get a better look at what looks to be a nice tall and wide 3x3 or 3x4. Possibly the piebald buck ive been following for the last 3 years now.
