I drew a Margaret B. I haven't hunted down there, I am most of the time over hunting with a bow on the eastside. I kind of know the area, only from visiting the area to see the mountain. I would love any help that you could offer. time to fill the freezer...........thanks in advance. 8) |

I would double check with Weyerhauser, but the last couple of years, they haven't had very many gates open. We had to drive across from the 1900 to get to where we wanted to hunt, which was all the way up by the other boundary (I can't think of the road number off the top of my head). It makes for a long drive in on Saturday morning, since it is open weekends only. |

Your right.The only access has been through the 1900. From what I hear its open most weekends now thanks to a local group working with Weyco.Patrolling the area etc.Last I heard you could go up to the lakes on weekends. I'm going up to do some scouting this weekend.Saw 8 legal bulls this afternoon.No big ones but a couple that would be hard to turn down.Also saw a bunch of cows. |
