Meet Mabel, the newest addition....
« on: August 02, 2012, 03:23:12 PM »
A 2 year old English Setter.

By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

That brings back some good memories, we had one of those when I was a little kid.  Great looking dog, but good luck when she runs through the cockle burrs. >:(

Oster or wahl horse clippers negate the cockle burr nationals at the end of the day, shave em  short now and by the time huntin season rolls around it's the right length to keep em warm but not grab every foreign object in 2 counties.

Never heard of the estete  but I do know Melissa.I would venture a pretty good guess it's all show dogs.Which doesn't mean they won't hunt or aren't birdy.I've seen plenty that weren't birdy but those were mostly gordon show dogs and the show variety Pointers.I've been on hand to witness Melissa win a stake or two at field trials.

Well this dog will set on a dang House Sparrow...   :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I can only imagine what she would do with chukkar or quail or pheasant...   trying to teach her to fetch.  She will chase a tennis ball, till it stops.  Sniff it then turn and come back to me, leaving the ball lay...   :o

Great looking dog

I have some bird wings for training if interested. Have you shot around her yet?

I can help out with training.
