Great day (no bear)
« on: August 07, 2012, 05:13:28 PM »
Upwind and I hit the mountains today in hopes of filling our tags.  Our first area was a few mile walk to a clear cut full of berries.  There was sign everywhere, but the dang clouds decided to hang on that section and we had to ditch the best spot.  Headed up the mountains to get above the cloud cover and watch some bowels.  The bugs were out in force today :bash:  We did not see any movement after a hour of watching, and with the heat rising and shade leaving we decided to head down the other side of the mountain where the shade was.  After a LONG walk, more glassing and no sign we decided to call it quits.  It was a great day, and once again thank you Upwind for inviting me out!
