I still have a ton of Chantrelles frozen up for all the steak I am going to get this fall, I can't wait! Bring on the rain!!!!

Yep, they should be popping up soon.

For the Olympic Peninsula we go after the "first real rain after the 4th of July". Closer to Olympia I have to wait another month or so, but I have a spot in the Capitol Forest that should produce next week.

I do have a ton of the little white puff balls in my yard right now, but I don't like the texture.
