That 4x4 I guessed maybe would go 190.  I wasn't sure if hed make it or not as his fronts were a bit weak.  I think we settled on short of the 190 mark.

 One of my favorite bucks

So, what does a 220 buck look like?    THis shed is the State Record and is currently 3rd in the world.   It measures 96+   x2  =192 inches.   30 inch spread credit.....   222 (no deductions)  I'll hold it to a 170 buck, and my 178 buck which is 33+ wide.

Well I think what gets to people is when someone claims state record buck and throws out a score that doesn't look right

If the poster, hunter or  friends would have posted "hey check out this great buck?" there wouldn't be one negative post about it, but if you are going to make a claim like this you better be right and it better look right too thats all I'm saying.

Here is what a real  220 buck looks like, before you guys get all up in arms again This WA buck is a stud of a buck I just cant stretch 220 out of it  :dunno: Also they are calling this one a possible World Record Buck ... so you are going to tell me next that this WA buck is now close to a World Record?  :nono:

The difference is that buck makes 220 on his frame.  The WA buck has at least 10" worth of points with the drop time.  His main frame doesn't even break 200"

Man I JUST went threw this thing :chuckle:

I would agree with all the guys on here that I know can score very well. Why I am no master at the tape. I would bet money that buck would not break 200" I would guess around 180-190 a true stud but I see 190 at the very very high end. I have put my hands on more then a couple deer that tape out at 160-170. He is bigger then that but no 220.

What a beautiful buck! I love the drop tine! 25 2 16 12 12=67*2=134+22+40=196+9ish dropper=205 (gross of course)
Tall bucks with deep forks add up real fast! I kind of feel I'm being a little conservative on a couple of those measurements.  :twocents:
