Another Poached deer
« on: October 11, 2012, 09:33:12 AM »
Yesterday somebody shot a doe in the same spot one was shot a few months earlier. It's on private land right next to the yakima indian res. Both times they were indians shooting them. The first time we got the license plate number and gave it to the game wardens. They ran the plates and said there wasn't much they can do about it if they don't catch them on the private land. They took a dna sample of the first gut pile and they ran the plates had the address of the person but they apparently cant do anything if they live on the res. I haven't called on the second deer yet b/c we didn't get the license plate #. It was a different rig this time but it might've been the same guy. Yesterday the guy shot the doe as my buddy was driving past him & he ended up just leaving the doe out in the field.

Anybody have any advice how to stop indians shooting deer on private property?

He went flying past them and turned around and went flying back to were they were at and they were gone. also in bickleton you don't have any cell phone service and personally i wouldn't want to confront indians with guns if i don't have one. There is a road just east of were he was at that goes straight over to the indian res that we can't go on.

Contact Plat on here with the information.  He is after facts.  Give him the facts that you have and let him pursue it.  I'd also ask him for advice on how to pursue it.  I'll shoot him a link to this thread in case you don't know him.

There is something they couldve done and that was contact the tribal game wardens or tribal police not be f-ing lazy.  Numerous game violations that can be prosecuted if the witnessing party testifies.  5098652933 is tribal police.  Is she was that fresh I wouldve drove down and picked her up and donated it to a family that was in need of meat for a funeral.  Any other info. Or questions don't hesitate to let me know or ask.

Even if just their bullets are being fired onto private land, that is as far as I know still considered trespassing.  If WDFW wouldn't do it, you could call the sheriff and see what the county sheriff/prosecutor can do.  They are probably busy with all kinds of stuff, but I'd imagine that you/your buddy can still get something done.  And if criminal court isn't working, you can probably find some way to go after them in civil court.

I think its a great idea. The Yakamas are a proud nation, the last thing they want is bad publicity. The more we can take pics/videos to the media that proves its them, the better off we are.

It didn't happen to be 2 guys in a maroon toyota tacoma single cab, the truck is lifted with 33 in tires. If so i know who the guys are and they are good. They need to be taken care of by tribal game wardens they are always doing stupid crap like that.

Two years ago I witnessed said guys in maroon Toyota (at least it was a maroon, lifted, single cab Toyota pickup) chase a bull in the vehicle and shoot it out of a big group of cows around a feeding station. Some of you that have been on here a while may remember this. I sent a letter to the editor. Later that month a buddy took pics of an Indian vehicle in the Nile. The issues were brought to public attention and the tribe recieved some heat for it. Not sure if it did anything though. But it is a good suggestion to get media involved.
