Only land around me is Green Diamond land and it is closed.  Still, I've heard 4 shots already this morning coming from that general direction :bash:  I left a message on Green Diamonds security line.  They had been patrolling the area pretty hard the last week.  Guess they weren't out patrolling this morning.

Capital Forest was pretty alive with hunters this morning. Heard about 6 gunshots throughout the morning but as lick would have it the only animals I saw were birds... Oh well.

Went out for two hours with my boy.  Bumped a deer going in to our stand (a couple of folding chairs, his with an umbrella over it) at 7:05.  Didn't see anything but a lot of raindrops.  All my apples but one were still on the trail going in.  Hiked through another nieghbor's place and saw 8 does and fawns.
