Favorite upland bird show?

What is everyone's favorite TV show about bird hunting?  Mine is Wingshooting USA.

I miss hunting with Hank.  That was my favorite.

Hunting with Hank for sure. Dez is a friend of mine on facebook, he is a really nice guy and will always take the time to talk to you or answer your questions. Hes a real stand up guy!

Hunting with Hank.  Even a rerun is better than anything else out there.

American bird hunter with Dave "the General" Gruber.  what always impressed me about his show -unlike many others at the time- was you could really see how much the man cared for his dogs. too often dogs are just background characters in hunting shows, when I really believe they should be portrayed as the stars.

I never got to see more than a few episodes of "Hunting with Hank" but they had the right idea too.

I hate to say it, but While I like watching the hunting shows, the dog work is typically HORRIBLE!  I'd love to see a show with finished dogs hunting properly that showcases the dogs rather than the kill.  But I think too many people are more occupied with the kill than the dog work.

If I'm not mistaken, there's a guy on here who has a dog or 2 that are Hank's offspring.

It has been many years since I've seen Hunting with Hank, but I can remember no finer show when it comes to showcasing a properly trained gun dog, even going so far as to point out what Hank did wrong (which wasn't very often) and how to properly train your dog for the eventuality of running into that situation again.

Never spoil your bird dog!! Haha!!

I miss "Hunting With Hank" and "Upland Days With Dez And Dash"; very well done. I liked "American Birdhunter", as well; altough it appeared aimed at a younger audience.

I watch "Wingshooting USA", but I don't care much for the persona of the host, Scott Linden. He comes off as a "big hat, scarf wearing snob" trying to play "Good Ol' Boy". He seldom wears enough blaze orange, blabs way too much and even behind flushing dogs, does the, "true gentleman only carry our SXS's in the (break) open position". I'm a "Nazi" about gun safety, but I think Mr. Linden is more about projecting an image.

I love the comment from the last video.. "Some dogs are steady, I don't know any like that."....   Fun to watch, I just wish we didn't have to watch dogs blow backs and try to steal retrieves while breaking at the flush.
