I don't see a dang thing wrong with using a sled to sight in a gun, while not neccessary and the cost is a debate if it's worth it, but for the shooter who's got everything why not  :dunno:

Hell I was using one today, I got the iron sights nuts on then used the sled to hold zero and ghetto "bore sighted" the prism sight to get me to paper. (AR15)

If shooting a bolt gun you can pull the bolt and bore sight down the tube and use the sled to hold your zero while you move the scope to zero.  You do it on bags too, but the sled is nice.



first time I've really used a sled, and I liked it  :tup:
I didn't pay anywhere near 100 bucks for it though :rolleyes:
