Great photos.  I have heard of people using "taxidermy" eyes like contact lenses that they insert over the real eyes to get better photos.  Did you do that?  The photos do look like it is alive, nice job.

thats a real nice mulie right there. something seems off for me though. I have never seen a dead deer hold its head up for a pic. even in the pics where the 2 are touching the antlers, they are only using tthe tips of their fingers. that head has got to be heavy. nice animal for sure but pic makes be go hmmm.
