Scope covers while in the field

I use Butler Creek HOWEVER the clear lense caps are great!!  No need to flip them up for close shots just pull up and shoot.  Then on longer shots when clarity matters and/or if it is raining you can flip them up as needed.

[/quote]                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             :yeah:I just keep my gun level in front of me, got tired of them popping up and once rain or snow get inside the cap- you can't shut them or it's fog city. I use a safari sling to keep my gun level, but it doesn't always work for me. I'v not found a 100% solution to keeping my scope clear.

I use the old Michaels of Oregon QD scope caps. I bought many sets of them 30 years ago so I have them for every scope I hunt with. You have to have good scope caps hunting in rain.

If you ever want to sell some PM me I love those! I have tried the BC flip ups but found they fogged when hunting in the SE Alaska rain and Western Washington worked pretty good in Eastern Wash, but the old Uncle Mikes keep my scope clear unless they pop off while crawling through really thick stuff.
