For older cars it would have to be a 66 Chevelle SS and a 68 RS/SS Camaro.

[/quote]Its way cheaper to buy one already restored than to do it yourself.

This is my dream car that I totally restored every single part last year as a winter project. It is a 1968 RS/SS Camaro. This picture in no way does the paint job justice. I have posted this before but thought it fit this thread. :)

my ass! when you own, restore or build yourself- you get to drive them & most that have wont sell them. if i could get mine back(tried many times once i found it) i would be buryed in that thing
Are you saying its not cheaper to buy one already restored?

Weve been amazed...as we are every year, at some of the steals people are getting on cars...watched a good looking 69 El Camino with a bamboo bed lining go for $29k

Yup...you loose the satisfaction of doing it yourself but you sure as heck can't beat the deal!
Agreed, there is the satisfaction of doing it yourself, but my comment was explaining why you shouldn't be surprised at the killer deal. ;)

No dream "car" for me but i would rather a truck. Right now would be the current year Ford F-350 with the 6.7L Powerstroke. Long box, crew cab, 6in lift 37" Toyo MT's, some sort of black rims. Gun Metal Grey in color with a 6spd manual tranny.

Awesome  My dilemma would be buying one completely stock or buying one that was completely built from frame off with new modern drivetrain, paint, billet etc. I'd drive the later but would be afraid to drive a numbers matching stock ride.

Me too. But I want the King Ranch Edition
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is who you actually are while your reputation is merely who others think you are.
