Do you use a blind?  Those dang birds are so hard to get close to.

I use a 40D also.

THANKS!    I do have a blind.   I just about froze my butt off out there this morning waiting for them.   They finally showed up 5 minutes before I had to leave for a basketball game.   Their timing SUCKS.  I guess its my timing sucks.
